Designed exclusively for for kids ages 4-12, Zumbatonic classes are high-energy fitness-parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines to music kids love to groove too. Zumbatonic is designed to increase kids' focus and self-confidence, boost metabolism and enhance coordination while the kids have a blast!

Sensei Brad Wells has been studying martial arts for forty years. He has nearly thirty years teaching experience at the university and technical college level. He offers classes through recreation departments, community centers, and YMCA's. He teaches with an emphasis on personal development and self discipline.
For kids grades K - adulthood
Advanced registration is required and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited to 15 in Intermediate Level and 10 in the Beginner Levels.

Princess Dance Camp
July 19 - July 30; 10:00-11:30 am
This class is for 3 to 5 year old dancers who love princesses and ballet! Dancers will hear princess stories and will then learn classical ballet techniques to songs that go with stories. They will also have fun snacks and make craft projects such as fairy wands, crowns, and much more! A fun hula dance will also be taught. They will perform both numbers at the end of their two week camp.
Instructed by Miss Leah Pappe, who has taught ballet and jazz for three years at Watertown and Waterloo.

Miss Becca's Ballet Camp
August 2 - August 5
Try out Miss Becca’s ballet during this 4-day camp. A great way for you and your child to see if the class is the right fit! Camp is a preview of what to expect in the fall. Your child will develop balance, strength, poise, and flexibility under the direction of Becca Lauber. During camp, Becca will focus on the basics of ballet and tap, allowing your child to receive the full benefit of the dance. Pre-ballet and ballet students should wear clothes they can movie in and ballet slippers. Ballet & tap students should wear comfortable clothes and , ballet and tap shoes.

Shakespeare for Kids Camp
August 9 - August 20; 9:00 - Noon
Directed by Kris Paape, kids in Shakespeare Camp will learn about the life and times of William Shakespeare through stories, games, crafts, scenery-making, and last but not least, performing Shakespeare! Cast members will act out a rendition of Twelfth Night as Twelfth Night With a Twist!
Kids ages 5 to 15 are welcome to sign up for this 2-week camp.

Caldecott Art Camp
August 9 - August 20; 12:30 - 2:00 pm
Has your child dreamed of becoming a children's book author? From Eric Carle to Dr. Suess to Maurice Sendak to Kevin Henkes, kids will see an hear the stories that made them Caldecott Award winners.
Directed by Kris Paape, she will help them create their own versions of one of the pages in the books and will begin working on writing their own books and illustrations. They will use different art mediums such as tissue, paper, pen, and ink, paint, and pastels. This class may inspire your child to do great things!

Tennis Camp

Join LMHS Varsity Tennis players at the high school courts to learn and practice the fundamentals of tennis. While some rackets are available, children are encouraged to bring their own rackets. Tennis balls will be provided. Children should bring water bottles. Rain days will be held at teh RLAC. Groups will meet at the high school.

Gymnastics & Tumbling Camp
Camp A: August 16-20; Camp B: August 23-27

Laura Wethall will introduce fall gymnastics and tumbling with this one or two week camp. Your child will learn proper form and positioning in floor exercises, tumbling, and beam. Each taught at age-appropriate levels with an emphasis on development, safety, and fun. Great for growing bones and muscles. Children will build muscle, strength, flexibility, improve balance and develop concentration.
Chose from one or two weeks.

Time for Toddlers

Couselors will lead your child in age approprite games and activities and guide them as they learn to play with one another. Both indoor and outdoor activities are planned. Parents are welcome to register for fitness classes that are scheduled at teh same time or take the morning off for themselves. Advanced registration is per child and required and due by May 15. Open to toddlers ages 2-4 (potty trained)

Mom's Morning Out (Or Dad's)!
Friday, July 23 - August 27 from 9:30-11:00 am
Register your pre-school aged child to play and interact with others their age while you take the morning off. Children will take part in scheduled games and activities, encouraged free play and snack time. All activities are coordinated by our fitness instructor, Jenny Hendricks. Emphasis is on fair play and and fun!
Pre-registration is required with a minimum of 4 per day, maximum of 12.
Members: $1.50/child/day
Non-Members: $2.50/child/day
