RLAC Room Rentals

Need a facility for your next birthday party, club, or gathering?
Consider renting the center.
$20/hr per room = non-members
$10/hr per room = members
Available rooms include: gym, game room/cafeteria, computer room.

Guests are always welcome at RLAC.  The fee for each visit is: $3—Youth (17 & under)    $5—Adult (18 & older)

  • Any one person may be a guest five (5) times per calendar year.
  • A waiver must be completed and signed at each visit by the guest.  Children under 18 must have this waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.  No exceptions.
  • Guests must be accompanied by a member.
  • All guests must provide a valid driver’s license or photo ID at each visit.
  • Members are responsible for all charges incurred by their guest.


Day Pass

Want to bring a friend to work out with you? Only in town for a couple days and looking to get in a good workout? A Day Pass can be purchased for $5.

Code of Conduct:

We ask individuals to act in a manner that upholds the principles of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring at all times when they are in our facility or participating in RLAC programs. We expect those using RLAC to behave in a way that shows respect and caring for others, which includes not using language or engaging in any action that can hurt or frighten another person or that falls below a generally accepted standard of conduct. Actions not showing respect for others and are not permitted include:
  • Wearing inappropriate attire. Suitable clothing must be worn while using the facility including: proper footwear (no flip flops or other open-toed shoes in the fitness areas), shorts, t-shirts, sweatpants, etc.
  • Clothing with vulgar or profane writing or pictures is not allowed.
  • Using angry or vulgar language; swearing, name calling, or shouting.
  • Making physical contact with another person in an angry or threatening way.
  • Engaging in sexual activity or contact with another person.
  • Harassment or intimidation with words, gestures, or body language.
  • Any behavior that is inappropriate, threatening or offensive in nature.
  • Stealing or behavior which result in the destruction of property.
  • Carrying or concealing devises or objects which may be used as weapons.
  • Using or possessing illegal chemicals or alcohol on RLAC property or in vehicles.
  • Smoking. The RLAC facility and grounds offer a smoke-free environment.

Members and guests are encouraged to be responsible for their personal well-being. Feel free to ask any person to refrain from any activity that threatens your comfort. If the situation needs additional assistance, RLAC staff are always available.

The Executive Director will investigate all reported incidents. If the director determines a violation of this Code of Conduct has occurred, suspension or termination of the RLAC membership privileges as stated in RLAC policy may result. Therefore, RLAC reserves the right to remove persons from the facility and terminate their membership at their discretion. Any instance of harmful or threatening actions, the police will be alerted and the individual will be dealt with accordingly.

No Smoking. By actions of the Board of Directors, a smoking policy has been adopted for the RLAC facility and outdoor areas.

Supervision of Children: RLAC requires that all children under the age of 10 have adult supervision at all times. Children under the age of 15 cannot be left at the RLAC later than closing time. If the child is left 30 minutes after closing time, the police will be called. We urge you to have a system in place for picking up your children.

Picture/Phone Policy: For the privacy and consideration of our members, cellular phones capable of taking pictures are not allowed in workout areas. For the courtesy of others utilizing the equipment, we ask that members and guests step out into the hallway to receive or make phone calls. In addition, the RLAC staff may be taking pictures throughout the center for promotional use. Please inform the staff if you do not want to have your picture taken or used for this purpose.



  • During open gym, full court basketball will be up to the discretion of the RLAC staff.
  • The Gym Supervisor and the Manager on Duty have full authority to enforce policies. Balls/gym equipment can be checked out at the front desk in exchange for your membership card or picture identification. Your ID will returned upon return of the equipment.
  • Appropriate attire required at all times.
  • Gym shoes must be worn with non-marking soles.
  • Children are not permitted in the gym during times scheduled for adult classes.
  • No unsupervised children under 10 years of age.
  • Please follow the gym schedule for each session.  Schedules are subject to change without advanced notice.  Schedules are available at the front desk.
  • Food or drink is not permitted in the gym.
  • Dunking or hanging on the rims is not permitted.  We strongly stand  behind the rule...you break it, you buy it.

  • Workout Areas

    • Be respectful of other members using the center equipment.
    • Please limit equipment use to 30 minutes when members are waiting.
    • Please wipe down equipment after use.
    • Please wear appropriate attire including clean, dry athletic shoes, shirt and shorts. Sandals are not allowed. The management will address any unsatisfactory hygiene conditions.
    • Use of a water bottle is greatly encouraged. Food and other beverages are not allowed.
    • Work out bags should be kept in the assigned areas.
    • Please return free weights to racks when finished.
    • NO dropping the weights.
    • Children under the age of 12 are prohibited from all fitness areas, regardless of parental supervision.
    • Children 12-17 years of age are allowed in the workout areas only after completing Center Certification.
    • Do not attempt to repair or adjust any equipment that has malfunctioned. Please notify the front desk of any problems.
    • Always use a spotter when attempting to maximum weights.



    Computer/Resource Center:

    • Food and beverages are not allowed in this area.
    • Please limit computer use to 30 minutes when members are waiting.
    • Return all resource materials and equipment (i.e. pencils, rulers, markers, etc.) to its proper place.
    • Any reasonable suspicion for using the computer in an inappropriate manner will have their membership immediately and permanently terminated.



    Pass Key Agreement

    As an owner of an RLAC pass key, I agree to the following:
    • I understand that the use of a pass key is restricted to members only.
    • I will not lend or sell my pass key to any unauthorized user.
    • I will not borrow a pass key from another authorized user in the event I lose mine.
    • My use of the Rock Lake Activity Center will be restricted to the weight room, cardio room, cycle room, and gym.
    • I will be responsible for turning off lights, fans, air, and equipment when not in use. I will be certain to close windows and ensure all doors remain shut.
    • I will wipe down any machines, benches or equipment I used.
    • I will report any concerns or challenges to the administrative team.
    • I understand that anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult member of the RLAC.
    • Anyone under the age of 18 must vacate the premises by curfew unless accompanied by a responsible adult. (Sun-Thurs: 10:30 pm; Fri-Sat: Midnight)
    • I will return all equipment used to its rightful place.
    • I will not remove any equipment or property which does not belong to me from the RLAC without permission of the Center Director.
    • I understand that any infraction of the rules may be grounds for deactivating the pass key I possess.
    • Lost, damaged or stolen keys will be replaced at an additional charge.

    Wednesday: 5:30am-12:00pm & 5:00pm-8:00pm

    Thursday: 5:30am-12:00pm & 5:00pm-8:00pm

    Friday: 5:30am-12:00am

    Saturday & Sunday: Closed

    The Office will be open from 7:00 am till Noon Monday through Friday.

    Hours of operation are subject to change without notice as membership demand dictates.



    RLAC will be closed for the following holidays:
    New Years Day
    Memorial Day
    Fourth of July
    Labor Day
    Thanksgiving Day
    Christmas Day



     Facility Features and Member Benefits:

    • Complete Cardiovascular Center with elliptical machines, stair climbers, treadmills, and exercise bikes.  (Ages 12 and older.)
    • Large weight room with free weights, benches and circuit equipment.  (Ages 12 and older.)

    • Discounts on programs and classes.  Note:  discount does not apply to outside programs/classes being offered at RLAC. (Fort Healthcare classes, Weight Watchers, etc.)

    Types of Memberships:
    Family—Only immediate family members; husband, wife and children under the age of 21 and living in the same household.
      Single—Any adult over the age of 18 (who is not a full-time student).
    Child—Children between 5 and 14 years of age.
    Youth—Youth between 15 and 18 years of age.
    Senior—Adults age 55 and over.
    Corporate—Inquire at the front desk regarding possible corporate plans that can offer special rates for employers and employees.

    Additional Information:

    • Monthly payment options are available for standard memberships.
    • Registration fee and first monthly payment is due upon completion of application.
    • Youth under the age of 18 requires and parent/legal guardian signature on application.

    Membership Termination/Freeze Policy:

    • Monthly memberships expire after the appropriate time has elapsed from the purchase date.
    • Standard memberships that are paid in full expire one year from the purchase date.
    • Standard memberships within the first 12 months may not be terminated and/or refunded except in extreme circumstances to be reviewed by the Executive Director.
    • Standard memberships that are paid through electric funds transfer are continuous month to month even after the 12 month membership expires. (Note:  EFT is not available at this time.)
    • It is the member’s responsibility to contact RLAC, in writing, at least 30 days prior to any changes or cancellations to membership.
    • Members may not freeze memberships except with explicit consent from the Executive Director.

    Guest Fees & Policies:

    Gift Certificates:
    Gift certificates may be purchased at the front desk in any dollar amount.  The certificate expires one year from the date of purchase.

    Room Rentals:
    Room rentals are available for a nominal fee.  Inquire at the front desk for details.

    We love referrals!  Any member whose referral results in a standard membership will receive a special “thank you” gift from RLAC.   Please inquire at the front desk for more details on this promotion.

    Volunteer and save!  As a non-profit program, it is imperative to have volunteer involvement.  Please inquire at the front desk to find out how your volunteers hours can result in a discount on your membership fees.

    Consider sponsoring a member.   It is the policy of RLAC to not turn away any community member due to hardship cases.  To make this policy a reality, donations are needed.  Please inquire at the front desk to see how you can help sponsor those less fortunate.
